Course Description

This course introduces students to the capabilities and programming of the AWG (Arbitrary Waveform Generator) and AVD (Audio Vidio Digitizer) options for the ASL3000 tester. This is achieved through a combination of lectures and lab exercises. The course is designed for students with basic mixed signal test skills. The primary goal is to have students be productive in mixed signal device characterization and verification by the completion of the course.

The course covers some of the basic theory of mixed signal device testing, and will include hands-on lab exercises.

Prerequisites

  • 6 months test experience
  • VisualATE Programming
  • MDI Digital Applications (Recommended)

Recommended

  • C++ programming (or other high-level language)
  • English - written and spoken
