Course Description

This course introduces the student to the capabilities and programming of the Modular Digital Instrument (MDI). This is achieved through a combination of lectures and lab exercises (actual device used in lab). Upon completion of the course, the student is able to: understand basic digital test issues, use the Pattern Editor to view and create MDI pattern files and program basic functions of the MDI.

Prerequisites

  • 6 months test experience
  • VisualATE Programming

Recommended

  • C++ programming (or other high-level language)
  • English - written and spoken
